Family Vacation Itinerary, Hilton Head Island

I organized a stress-free family getaway for a busy executive family traveling to Hilton Head Island. Every detail: flights, rental car, villa access, and check-in instructions was documented in one easy-to-read page, so they could simply relax and enjoy the trip.

The Challenge

Vacation planning emails were scattered across inboxes separate threads for flight confirmations, car rental, and villa check-in codes. With multiple travellers and dates involved, it was easy for small but important details (like gate codes and Wi-Fi access) to get lost.

There was no single source of truth for the trip, and every question required digging through multiple emails.

The Solution

I designed a clean one-page travel summary that consolidated every piece of information in one document:

✈️ Flights: Included departure and return times, airline, and confirmation codes.
🚗 Rental Car: Added vehicle type, pickup/drop-off times, and total cost for transparency.
🏡 Property Access: Documented villa address, door code, parking code, pool access, and Wi-Fi details.
🕒 Check-In / Out: Highlighted key times and directions for arrival prep.
📍 Smart Notes: Added reminders for groceries, local stores, and nearby emergency contacts.

Everything was formatted clearly, color-coded by section, and saved as a shareable PDF for both desktop and phone access.
